Biscoff Cheesecake Apple Dip

Biscoff Cheesecake Apple Dip-3 squareSara and I have kind of ignored the whole Biscoff craze going on in the rest of the world. It’s not that we don’t like it (well, I can’t speak for Sara, but I know that for me personally, anything that involves my favorite airplane cookies and the word “butter” is going to be something I’m a fan of.) But we just…haven’t. Until now.

As I gear up for Thanksgiving, kind of the biggest, baddest kitchen holiday of of the year, it’s nice to have a few fall-ish recipes handy that aren’t quite so labor-intensive. And if you want to make this easy-peasy Biscoff spread recipe for a snacky appetizer for Thanksgiving morning, you can whip it up a few days ahead of time and then pull it out of the refrigerator (along with some sliced apples) when you’re ready to serve it. Plus, throw in some apples and light cream cheese and a few tablespoons will satisfy your sweet tooth without totally busting your healthy eating. At least that’s what I tell myself.

You’re going to need some Biscoff Cookie Spread (or other spiced cookie spread), 4 ounces of cream cheese (I use light cream cheese), and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Questions & Reviews

  1. I still haven’t tried Biscoff yet and I don’t know what I’m thinking!

  2. Why dip apples if you could just dip more cookies in this yumminess? Only kind of kidding.

  3. While I am also a fan of Biscoff, I saw this recipe and instantly thought “I could totally do that with Nutella.” I am pregnant, so I may make two dips: one with Biscoff and one with Nutella. You know, Biscoff for me, Nutella for Baby. 😉

    1. I have never heard of Biscoff either but I had Nutella and cream cheese on hand so I made this. It was delicious! I’ll have to check out the Biscoff too!

  4. Kate, when I first saw Biscoff in the store I totally thought “My airplane cookies!!” If you have a Trader Joes nearby, their Speculoos cookies and cookie butter (especially the cookie butter/hot cocoa combo) are to die for, too. I’m happy to send you some if you haven’t tried it. = )

  5. I hadn’t even heard of Biscoff before 3 days ago and am totally wondering where to buy and feel silly even asking this. Must google now! But you cannot go wrong with cheesecake dip.

  6. I must have completely
Missed this craze too….. Then again, you guys are basically the only food blog I read/use. I wonder if this cookie spread exists in canada? Interesting…… But anything involving apples and cream cheese has my vote ( especially during this pregnancy! Ate 3 apples in the middle of the night a few nights ago).
