Questions & Reviews

  1. So I would like to brine my turkey this year using your recipe, but I have a question about where to keep the turkey while it’s brining. We live in South Alabama where the highs are low 70s and the lows are still in the 50s this time of year, so leaving the turkey outside is really not an option. I noticed some other people in the comments section said they brined their turkey in a cooler, but don’t really want to put raw poultry in my cooler. Other ideas?

    1. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with ice. If it doesn’t fit in your fridge, you just have to keep packing with ice to keep it cool.

  2. Wishing you both a wonderful holiday with your families. I’m thankful for all your great recipes!

  3. One of your stuffing recipes calls for minced fresh sage. Where do you purchase that or do you have to mince it yourself? No one at the grocery store this morning seemed to know what I was talking about.

    1. Just fresh sage from where you buy fresh herbs in the produce department and you can mince it yourself. 🙂
