Fit Club Blog Header

We’ve been so excited for this!  Today officially begins the Our Best Bites Fit Club.  For those not in the loop, you can read this post to catch up.  We love this community that’s grown over the last 7 years, so think of this as your virtual club, and everyone in it, your virtual friends!  This really only works if you all participate!   Kate and I are working overtime to provide some amazing things for you, so we need you to be involved, leave comments, participate via social media, etc.  That’s the only way we can gauge interest, and we’ll keep this up if people are interested!

So you’re probably wondering what is going to be happening. There’s tons going on, so listen up!

Blog Posts

We want to be very clear for people who are not interested in this topic, that Our Best Bites will continue to be a food blog!  We’ll even continue to post naughty treats sometimes, because we believe it’s all about balance. But we’ll also incorporate posts here in The Scoop section, dedicated to the Fit Club to share info on a variety of topics, including our favorite things (gear, nutrition, fitness, etc.), reviews, and definitely some awesome giveaways.  We’ll certainly continue sharing healthy recipes as well.

Featured Guests

It’s hard to believe that there are people who are as smart, or smarter (gasp!) than Kate and me, but they exist.  We’ll be introducing you to some Fit Club team members who are experts in their fields.  You’ll meet the first one this weekend with your first Weekly Workout Challenge!

Weekly Workout

We’re challenging you to join by completing a weekly workout!  This can be what you use for your personal workout plan, or it can be a bonus addition to exercise you’re already doing.  Every single week we’re going to give you a new workout you can do, and they’ll come in an awesome printable format that you can either screenshot on your phone or print out and keep on a little ring.  The workouts are designed by professional trainers and will introduce you to different styles of exercise!  After a few months you’ll have a whole collection of workouts that you can easily turn to.  These workouts will be going live on The Scoop at some point every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday so you’ll be ready to go on Monday.  Make sure to follow us on social media so you know when they’re live!

Weekly Challenge

Along with the weekly workout, each week we’ll introduce a new challenge that we’ll focus on during the week.  We’ll follow-up and remind you about the challenges via social media, so stay connected!

Stay Connected

This is key.  There will be a variety of ways to follow along with us and you may not use all of them.  The most basic is this blog.  Check regularly for updates and info.  Next, follow @ourbestbites_fitclub on Instagram.  If you don’t have an instagram account, it’s super easy to sign up, even if you only use it for this fit club!  You can also see it (but not comment) on your computer if you like.  Kate and I will be alternating hosting the Instagram account so you’ll get to see us both there.  We’ll also have a Facebook Group, but it’s not quite ready.  We’ll let you know as soon as it is!

Ready to get started

Now here’s what you need to do TODAY, right now.  Or at least sometime over the weekend!

1.  Photograph.  You can’t tell how far you’ve gone unless you know where you started.  You can see tons of mine, here.  Trust me, I totally wanted to delete all of those “before” pictures, but I’m so glad I have them!  Some time in the next few days take a photo of yourself.  It’s not for us, it’s not for Facebook, it’s for you.  No matter what your current state, you’ll be glad you did this.  You’ll be amazed at the changes you will be able to see down the road when you can compare it to your starting point.  Wear something snug to the body and take a photo of your front, side, and back. I recommend taking new photos once a month.  And who knows- you might want to be featured here, or win a prize!

2.  Weigh and Measure.  I’ve made this cute chart for you- print it out and hang it up near your bathroom scale!  Grab a calendar and write in the dates under the weeks.  I left them blank so you could use this chart any time.  –> Download by Clicking Here!

Weight Tracking Chart Graphic

Weigh yourself once a week on the same day and around the same time.  Then hide that scale!  Weighing yourself daily can be both misleading and frustrating. Once a week is a good check-in.   You’ll notice that every third week has a little symbol.  That’s because I suggest doing measurements every three weeks.  That’s enough time to see very small glimpses of progress.  Measuring weekly isn’t necessary.

When it comes to actual measurements, I’ve left these blank as well so you can customize it.  Use a regular ol’ flexible measuring tape.  I suggest measuring your waist and hips at the very least.  You may want to measure your bicep and calves as well.  It’s also important that you measure in the same place, so you can make notes about that as well.  For example, on mine it says things like “stomach: on belly button” “Around freckle on right calf”, etc.  Use markers that will help you be consistent.

Measure fat.  This is optional, but you might consider getting an inexpensive tool to measure your body fat.  They’re only a few bucks, and it’s a good way to gauge how your body is changing (regardless of what the scale says!)

Okay, so that’s a lot of info. We’re starting with baby steps, but there’s so much more to come!  Here’s a synopsis of your homework!

– Print off the chart and do your initial weigh-in and measurements.
– Check in over the weekend to get the first Weekly Workout Challenge and goal.
– Make sure you’re following us on Instagram and Facebook
– Leave a comment on THIS post.  Use a fake name if you want, just let us know you’re with us!  Share a health or fitness goal YOU’RE focusing on.  Let’s do this thing!

  1. Hi! I’m 4.5 months postpartum with my third baby. I’ve gained 40 pounds with each one, but this isthe first that I didn’t automatically lose half the weight (and the rest drops once I stop nursing and get back to regular activity – in the past anyway). So I know this time I’m going to have to work harder. I’m in!

    1. My weight never finishes coming off until after nursing is done too- what’s up with that? But I’m just under 3 mos PP, so I’ve got at least 6-9 months to go before I start seeing that…

    2. My weight never came off until I stopped nursing either…my doctor always told me to make sure I was getting enough calories for a good milk supply and to consider exercise at this point to be healthy and then worry about weight loss later.

  2. My family is doing a challenge, and I want to win!! My goal is at least 12% weight loss! Looking forward to the challenges you give us!

  3. Im so excited for this! I’ve just moved to a new are with no friends or family to be my workout buddy so this is perfect for me. My goals are to lose some post baby weight and have better eating habits.

  4. I’m in! I’ve lost 14 lbs since Thanksgiving by walking laps around the church next to my house and changing my eating habits. I’m ready for a new twist and some fun encouragement, thanks for all your hardwork and effort to share this info!

  5. I’m in! I lost 27 lbs at the begging of the year and was starting to feel great but I still had 20 to go. Somewhere along the lines (around Halloween I’m guessing) I’ve gained it all back. I would love to stop the yo yo and get to my goal wait and stay there! Thanks for doing this!

  6. I would love to see what a typical day of eating 1500 calories looks like for each of you. That would be so helpful!

  7. I’m all in! My goal is to do a 5K this June. And be a lean and mean fighting machine… (maybe just strong… I’m already kinda mean). 🙂 Thank you! I’m so excited!

  8. I love your blog and I’m excited for all the info to come. I am 3 months postpartum from my 5th baby. Being 10 years older than when I had my first I can see the toll my body has taken. I’m excited for some fresh workouts and recipes.

    1. I’m with you Amy. My fifth is almost 7 weeks and our oldest is 8 1/2. What a difference those years make.

  9. I’m in!! My goal is figuring out how to incorporate healthy routines into my super busy life (full-time graduate student prepping for an intense academic career – oh, and working a second job).

  10. Though I am young, my cholesterol is dismally high due to mostly genetics. The doc says I can avoid medication through diet and exercise; I would like to have my cholesterol numbers go down into a healthy range this year. I want to see my future grandkids grow up!

  11. I’m in! I’m pretty active, but my downfall is my relationship with food. I’m an emotional eater! Having support of a community as I try to tackle the food issues would be great for me.

  12. I’m in. So excited for this! I’m working on eating healthy on the weekends. It’s so hard on date night.

      1. I do the same thing 🙁 I do so good from Monday to Thursday and then totally blow it on the weekends. I’m up for the challenge and the support from the group!

  13. I’m in!! I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant so I’ll defintely be catching up in a few months. Can’t wait to get my body into shape!

  14. So excited about this! Thanks so much for all your hard work on putting this together. I have 35 to loose. My goal right now is to cut back on processed foods & sugar! When I eat these foods it zaps my energy and makes me craannnkkky!! Can’t wait for your new cook book!

  15. I. Am. In! I’m 44 months post partum 😉 and I need to create the body that’s going to be me for the rest of my life. Let’s go!

    1. I love it! I’m 40 months pp with my 6th and 180 months pp with my first. I have recently gotten down to my first pre-pregnancy weight, but I’d like to get down to my wedding weight next. And I want to run a half-marathon this year.

I started a 6-week challenge on Monday, but I’m happy that yours goes longer. If I do both challenges at the same time do I get to lose twice as much weight? 🙂 I’m definitely in!

  16. You have already inspired me with your post about the products you use to keep on track and i have started the Shred- Videos by Jillian Michaels because they are free on youtube. Thank you and I´m in. 🙂

  17. I am 12 pounds into loosing 35 pounds. Only 23 left to go! I SO don’t want to be skinny fat, so my goal is to lift heavy and be strong. I know that I look and feel so different, even at the same weight, when I lift.

  18. I’m totally in! My goal is to have a lifestyle change that will also help me lose 5 kids worth of weight!

  19. I’m in!! My first baby turns seven months old today and I’m still 20lbs up from pre-pregnancy, plus the 30 I was trying to lose before I got pregnant. In so excited to lose the weight and make healthy habits! Thanks so much ladies, you rock! <3

  20. I’m in. I am focusing on overall fitness and strength with the added bonus of hopefully whittling down my spare tire.

  21. This is fantastic! I just had my third baby girl this past September and I’m looking forward to feeling better about my body. I’ve always loved exercise, but struggled with eating. I love food and until recently always thought I had to go on a strict diet to lose the weight, such as preparing a bunch of chicken, sweet potato, and broccoli in little containers for the entire week. I would always feel deprived and give up! But starting this new year I’ve taken your tips and really watched my portions and calorie goal each day, while eating the foods I love. I feel like this is actually sustainable and more balanced and healthy. My goal is to be patient with my body and try to love it a little more! Progress will more than likely be slow, especially since my baby is three months old and I’m still breast feeding. I keep reminding myself that it’s okay to not be in pre-pregnancy pants, because I’m not a super model and it’s just not in my genetics. I love everything you guys have planned! Thanks for all the effort in addition to your wonderful recipes!

  22. 4 Months post-partum and wanting to get back to pre-baby weight AND get ready for summer! Let’s do this thing!!!!

  23. I’m in! I want to get myself active to feel better and deal with stress. The goal is to drag my husband along with me and make exercise part of our lifestyle, even during these dark, cold Canadian winters! We’re just about ready to start a family and I want healthy habits in place before pregnancy and little people!

  24. I’m in. It’s been harder to lose the baby weight this time so I’m looking forward to learning some new ideas. Thanks for doing this!!

  25. This is awesome. I’m in! Trying to get back to pre baby weight and fitness level. I’m in need of some motivation and accountability. So this will be great. Thanks so much!

  26. With three small kids (one of them only six months old), it’s hard to find time to formally exercise. So my goal for 2015 is just to move every day. I’m excited to try out the weekly exercise so I can add something new to my mix. Also, there are so many things I ought to be doing to be healthy that it can get overwhelming. So I’m looking forward to the weekly challenge–I think baby steps will help me stay on the path instead of trying to change all at once.

    1. I am so in! I’d like to lose 10 lbs and just feel better and fitter overall. So excited for this!

  27. I’m in! I want to get stronger and lose 10 lbs. I was more confident with myself at that weight. I also need to work on portion sizes and drink more water.

  28. this is so great. i may not have the support around me where i live, but this online community is going to be just what i need!

  29. Fun!! I’m working on toning. I lost the weight from my baby this year but now I need to tone. I always need help eating healthy too!

  30. I’m in. Hoping to lose weight and get back to exercising—I ran 3x a week for 7 months and then derailed at Thanksgiving.

  31. I am so excited to join this fit club! I just had my third baby at the end of October and between nursing, and sleepless nights, I’m really struggling to lose this extra weight. I’m ready to get back into shape, and it’ll be so great to have support along the way. Thank you so much for starting this, it really is an answer to my prayers!!

  32. I want to get my body to a place where I can see pictures of me with my husband and kids without my first thought being, “Ug, I look terrible.” And if I happen to look smokin’ hot as a result too I wouldn’t complain. 🙂

  33. I’m in! I’m hoping to avoid the winter-weight I tend to gain and then continue to wear well past winter!

  34. I’m excited to give this a try (even if we are starting during king cake season!) I’ve already started on my goal to exercise more & this will help me stay motivated. Thanks!

  35. I’m in! Thank you so much for putting this together. I really want to focus on weight loss and strength.

  36. Yay, I am so excited about this! I have been trying to do it on my own for a couple months now and some guidance and extra motivation are much needed

  37. I’m so excited for this!! I really want to tackle the free weights this year and run a half marathon! But first I need to tackle my bad eating habits! Thank you for providing an encouraging and inspiring place for us to come together and meet these goals. Y’all are wonderful!

  38. I’m so excited for this! I have been working out and losing weight for about a year now, and I’m always looking for a new idea to shake things up! Thanks!

  39. Had my sweet baby 4.5 months ago. Excited about losing the baby weight and getting ready for lots of summer swimming! Can’t wait to tackle all the challenges you all throw down!

  40. I’m in. We could call it baby weight, but my baby’s almost 4. Like the vibe of this “club.” Don’t have to be a gym rat!

  41. You guys rock! I am expecting this year, but eating healthy and exercising is still a big part of my preparation so I am totally with you guys!

  42. I’m in! I’m done having babies and I’m ready to lose this extra weight and not gain it back!

  43. I’m in. I’ve been overweight for a decade. I turn 40 this year and want it to be the year I finally get in shape! It’s about health more than vanity now.

  44. I’m in with the nutrition side of things now, and the exercise side of things soon. Pregnancy #4 left me with a hernia that has to be repaired before my doc will give me the ok to work out.

  45. I’m in too! I have an 80 lbs weight loss that I have pretty much maintained for the last year but they are creeping back on me a little at a time. I’m starting the Jillian Michaels 90 day revolution next week as well so this is perfect timing. (I don’t plan on doing it in 90 days though but I just want something to keep accountable!) Thanks for starting this up, I can’t believe how many Instagram followers you have for the Fit Club already!

  46. I’m in. One of my goals is to increase my flexibility and lower stress. My plan is to incorporate yoga and meditation into my DAILY routine.

  47. My baby is 4 months old and I’m eager to get more fit! Absolutely feel free to ignore if this is too personal, but – Sara, are you nursing your new little one? I’ve heard stories of losing wieght/cutting calories leading to decrease in supply, so if you are doing it successfully – I’m excited to follow along!

  48. My family is very active (skiing, running, marathons, mountain biking, hiking) we just gave food problems! Ha! Hoping this can help us out!

  49. Next week I have my last appt to get cleared by my OB for physical activity (after miscarriage). I am so on board with you and your plan. I need to be healthier to try this baby thing again. Thank you!

    1. So sorry to hear about your miscarriage – I lost my first that way, too. I had fantastic doctors who just kept saying ‘Don’t let this stop you from trying again.’ They were right. Miscarriage is scary and sad, but also common. Be excited for your next one!

  50. I’m in! I’ve lost 50 lbs. in the past six months, and have another 50 (or so) to go! My mom passed away 10 years ago at the age of 50, and I vowed last year that when that “anniversary” approached, I would be the healthiest version of myself — or at least headed toward it!

    1. I just wanted to say congrats on the loss so far and keep it up. I’m down about 80 and it’s really after the first 50 come off that you start feeling SO much better!

  51. My baby just turned 1 last month, and after being pregnant and/or nursing for the last 2+ years I am ready to get fit. I am so excited about your fit club and can’t wait to get started! I’m also super excited for your new cookbook:) you two are awesome!

  52. yes! I’m in! so excited for this. My goal for 2015 is to become strong and fit!! and to start running. all things I’ve never done before. it will be great to have a support group! I have about 35 pounds to lose and I’m excited to do this.

  53. So I’m almost 10 weeks pregnant. So I’ll most likely be focusing on the nutritional aspects of this. I do have quite a bit of weight to lose so I’ll definitely be lurking around for the fitness stuff too so I can have a plan for my next new years resolution which will be to get in shape!

  54. I’m so excited! I’ve been checking the site every day….until I read that this would be posted today. Then…I could hardly wait to check. I’m super stoked! It’s gonna be awesome. I’ve been hoping you gals would do something like this. I even signed up for the instagram account. I so excited…and I just can’t hide it…(ok so, I really am excited!) Count me in!

  55. I’m in! I’m about 2-3 weeks away from having baby #3, so I’m probably going to have to modify some things, but I want to focus on getting back in shape and just being healthy. I’ll be nursing, but I’m pretty sure I don’t need to be eating as many treats as I ate with the first two for my milk supply 🙂

  56. I’m in! Just in time. My baby is 10 months old and I have lost 33lbs so far. Only 10 more to my goal. Those last few pounds are always tough. This group will help. Thanks!

  57. I’m in! As a family we made some changes to our diets a little over a year ago. I was down about 30 lbs then the holidays came & I gained back about 15. Started back up Jan 1 and down 4 so far. Excited for the extra motivation. 2 of my goals for the year are to work on getting some muscles and to run a 5K for the first time!

  58. I’m in! I think printable exercises to put on a ring is genius! So excited for your collection of workouts! Also excited for healthy food options and snack ideas! A couple questions… to find The Scoop section where the posts will be we click on The Scoop tab at the top right? To fill out the weight and measurement sheet we write our weight in the first box then whatever measurements we would like to do in the next boxes across the page (ex. dominant arm, waist, hips etc.)? Thanks SO much! You are both awesome!!!

  59. This couldn’t come at a better time. I’ve challenged myself to participate in a 45 kilometre (about 28 miles) bike ride in August – a huge deal for this couch potato. I’ve got at least 20 pounds to lose and a whole lot of endurance to build up – this is great!

  60. I’m excited to follow along with this! My goal is to eat more veggies (and fruit) and loose 10-15#

  61. I’m in! I just posted on your instagram post as well. I’m looking to fit back into my pre-pregnancy work clothes and set a good example for my kid. I was good about working out during maternity leave (after the doc gave the ok). Then working mom guilt got the best of me and I haven’t been to the gym since. This week I started doing YouTube workouts after baby’s in bed. It’s tough to motivate myself (I’m much better in a group setting). This is just the kick I need!

  62. Thank you for doing this! I’m 23 weeks right now, so I’m focusing on gaining healthy weight and staying strong for the marathon of labor. The second half of the year will be about getting strong to keep up with three little boys.

  63. So excited. I would love to build some muscle and go down a couple of sizes!! To feel a little like my old self before I had four kids would be amazing. I am a great starter when it comes to workouts but get busy and make excuses. No more excuses

  64. Signed up on Instagram … love that you are posting updates there!! Printing out the goal sheet and setting some personal goals. Thanks for all your work on this and for motivating so many with your experience and bringing in new ideas and challenges!!

  65. Can’t wait to get started. I’ve got 30 pounds to lose. thanks for helping me get motivated to do something about it.

  66. I am in! So excited to start with you all. I have been doing yoga workouts this past week and feel good. Can’t wait to see what workouts you send our way.

  67. Hello, I’m really excited to get started. This is exactly what I needed to kick start my weightloss. Considering that my third and final baby is 18 months it’s time to get my butt in gear and lose the 30+ lbs I’ve gained! Thank you for doing this!!

  68. I’m in as well! Turning 40 in 3 months and my metabolism has slowed down. My goal is really quite small – lose 5 lbs, but mostly just to tone my body. And I want to be more active and eat healthier. The key to fitness is finding something you LOVE doing. I hate running, so it’s a struggle to get me on the treadmill, but I absolutely LOVE Zumba. Such a great workout. Thank you!!!

  69. Thanks so much starting this program! I have been feeling overwhelmed at the thought of adding a fitness routine into my schedule, but now I have a program to follow:) I would like to go down about 4 sizes and really tone-up.

  70. I’m excited for this! My baby is seven months today. I’ve lost the weight, but always need strength training and cardio could be better. 🙂

  71. What a great idea to have different styles of workouts that make up a packet for future use. I really enjoy exercising but I do get bored doing the same routines over and over. I also just went from being a stay-at-home mom to being a full-time attorney. No more midday gym workouts while someone babysits my daughter in the gym “kid’s club”. I love having a job outside the home, but I’m going to need extra encouragement to maintain a workout routine. Fit Club has come along at the perfect time!!!

  72. I’m in! Can’t wait! I’ve already lost 36 pounds, can’t wait to lose 10 more! I’m working on staying within my calories on MFP.

  73. I’m in. I love the printable. Winter is so hard for dieting and exercise. I’m looking forward to the support.

  74. I’m in! So excited! My fitness goal is to lose at least 15lbs this year and to keep me motivated is to complete a 10 K this summer. I did my first 5K last year and I found it was a good motivator for me.

  75. I want to make changes now that I can maintain for life. With 6 kids ranging from 12 years to 2 months I have a lot of little eyes watching. I want them to know how important it is to take care of these amazing bodies we’ve been given. My biggest hurdle is controlling my mindless and emotional eating. This is my wake up call to stop putting it off. Thank you both for taking the time to do this. You are helping so many people!

  76. I just had my third baby 3 months ago, and my goal was to run a half marathon in July at Bryce Canyon. the hardest thing for me is eating healthy. I need this support group! I’m totally in and excited!

  77. I’m in! My 5th baby is 3 months old and the weight is not coming off like it has before. One thing I would like to know is how much to cut calories and not effect my milk supply. The last thing I want is to not have enough to feed my baby. Also if I don’t eat enough I get light headed and dizzy so I struggle with what to eat that’s going to fill me up but not overload on calories.

  78. I see all these posts about losing the baby weight. Can I still call it that if my baby is 11??!!! I’m in. Now if I can just get my printer to work so I can print out the chart…

  79. I’m in! I’m getting married in March and my fiance and I want to start working out together, not to lose weight for the wedding, but simply to establish and hopefully maintain a healthy lifestyle. I need to gain some muscle-I’m tired of being skinny fat!

  80. I’m doing this! After my last baby I had 35 pounds to lose. Over the past year, I’ve lost 22 of it, but I’m stuck! I think this will help me get re-motivated. Thank you for putting it together!

  81. I’m in!!! Although it would be nice for my clothes to fit better I really want to improve my health.

  82. I have exercised off and on for years which is probably why I have stayed about the same. But in reality I need to lose about 15 – 20 lbs for my height and I would love for my routine to stick longer than 4 weeks! I have 2 little girls and I want to show them it’s not about being skinny it’s about being fit and healthy. I can’t wait to see what you ladies have planned, I’m totally in!!

  83. I’m in! I have been doing ok as far as exercise goes, but I can not stay away from food! I think about food 24/7 and I need to get a handle on it. I am doing a weight loss challenge right now that is really helping me stay focused. I love seeing new workouts and the more info the better! 🙂 If I can keep my focus on being healthy it gives me a good reason to pass on dessert and the other junk food that is always calling my name.

  84. This sounds so great! Can’t wait to get going!!! This is exactly what I needed for some diet and exercise motivation!!! Thx bunches!!!!

  85. Just had my last baby 2.5 months ago and I’m ready to get rid of those pesky 30 pounds. Nursing helps, but I’m really excited to be stronger and more fit than I’ve been since having kids. Ready to get back to my normal self! Thanks for doing this…I’m so excited and have told several family members about it hoping they will join me!

  86. Is it ok that I don’t necessarily want to lose any weight? I am 9 months postpartum and am down below my pre-pregnancy weight–some might say I’m lucky, but I don’t feel that way (my fear is it will catch up to me once I’m done nursing). My goal is to build strength, start working out more regularly, and eating healthier. I would love some healthy, easy, budget-friendly meals.

  87. I need to lose about 30 lbs. and re-establish fitness habits that have fallen by the wayside in the last couple of stress-filled years. Thanks for the community!

  88. I’m in! We just joined a gym so I’m hoping to start some weight training. It seems like my muscle tone has really gone downhill after 35. My new years resolution was to be better about meal planning and grocery shopping so that we can all eat healthier. I’d love to see some weekly healthy meal plans – that include food that my picky kids will eat.

  89. I’m in! I’ve been wanting to lose 10 lbs. for a few years now and this looks like perfect motivation to finally get it done! Thank you ladies for putting this together.

  90. I’ve already lost 20 pounds, but I just really want to lose 10 more to be at my goal weight. I got a fitbit for Christmas, so hopefully between that and this club I can do it!

  91. I’m in…at my highest weight, lowest low. In another challenge, a house decluttering one, too! Myself and my family are worth it. Hope I can keep up with both!

  92. I am so excited!! Right now, my goal is to just finish the last two months of my pregnancy strong. I’ve been able to continue exercising about 45 min a day usually six days a week and I am trying to keep that up. I’m also trying to eat as healthy as the boss allows. 🙂 After that, I’ll have to set another goal for getting back in shape.

  93. I’m totally in!!!! I’ve been starting new “programs” on and off for the past few years, trying to lose about 20-30 pounds and get fit. THIS is the one. I can feel it….I’m ready!!!!

  94. I am in! Thanks for doing this! I also have a darling 9 year-old who just doesn’t have the metabolism most of her friends do and siblings do and she and i have been working hard to help her eat really healthy and get moving even more this year. Before anyone freaks out at me, just know that this is an issue that the doctor and I have been working together on. This your fit club will be a blessing for both of us as it will help me stay on track and set an example for her!

    1. I was a heavy child as well and it has been a problem all my life. But because my mother taught me well as a child how to keep my weight under control it has never gotten completely out of control. She equipped me with the proper skills and positive mental ability to fight that battle. I think you’re a wonderful mother!!

  95. I am in! I’m 38 weeks pregnant with my last baby, so I’m excited to join in when I can. I turned 30 this last year and know it will be harder to loose the weight, but I’m excited to get serious about getting fit and healthy. Knowing I am done with having kids there are no more excuses!

  96. Joining with you as I begin my journey back after neck surgery 6 months ago. I love a motivating challenge with friends. What fun!
