All summer, my kids ask for food all day long. And if they’re not asking for food, they’re asking about food. “What’s for breakfast?” (If you’re old enough to ask me, you’re old enough to make it yourself. I’m teaching my kids to be self-sufficient or something.) “What’s for dinner?” “What’s for dinner tomorrow?” They’re like my cats, wandering around meowing sadly because their food bowls are half empty.
Now that they’re back in the swing of school, they’re not asking about the food so much–if anything, it’s just the opposite. They slump in off the school bus, flop onto the couch, and tell me they probably need to miss school tomorrow because their stomachs hurt and they have headaches. So then we find a few snacks and it turns out that they will live to take on another day (in this case with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash).
We’re so busy right now–I feel like the older my kids get, the crazier our schedules become. It seems like we’re constantly running somewhere, so having snacks we can grab on the go save us from the drive-thru every tim.
Since we became members of the Chobani Family Club at the beginning of the year, we pretty much always have Chobani Kids Pouches and Tubes in our fridge. From a convenience point of view, we love them because we don’t need a spoon (also, if you’ve ever watched a 4-year-old eat yogurt in the car with a spoon, you’d never do it again.) They have 25% less sugar than the leading kids’ yogurt, they’re packed with protein, and they’re a good source of calcium. Plus, they taste amazing and my kids actually love to eat them.
Chobani is also taking the guess work out of finding good for you snacks to replace the ones that are so easy to grab and go. Check out this “Sub It Out” fact sheet with a few ideas for a new school year.
I can attest to the fact that while the Chobani Tots Pouches are specifically designed for little eaters from 6-24 months (look for Simba and Winnie the Pooh), they are not just for tots (unless you can be a tot in your mid-thirties.) The Mango + Spinach (like, real mango, real spinach!) is legitimately one of my most favorite things to eat in the world.
My favorite Chobani Kids Tubes are Strawberry and Mixed Berry, but they also have Strawberry Banana and Watermelon. There’s also a grape flavor in the Kids Pouches that my little people think is pretty awesome.
Whether in their school lunches or on the go in the car, we love having foods that my kids liove to eat and that that I know are good for them too (even if I’m sneaking a pouch for myself.)

Oh my gosh. How cute is that mango-spinach heart!
