It’s Flashback Friday time again and I’m so excited to finally be able to share this recipe with people without feeling embarrassed about the terrible photography (including a really top-notch green tint job I did to the cookies themselves when I was “editing” the pictures. Let’s just say I’ve learned a lot over the past 8 years. We’ve had a few requests to see the terrible before pictures–I’m saving them so maybe I can do a before and after post someday, but if you want to see one that’s still alive and kicking, check it out here. I can laugh at myself. We’re good.) This recipe for toffee chocolate chip cookies is one of my all-time favorite cookie recipes, special enough for special occasions, everyday enough for lunchboxes and PMS-ing. If you’ve never made them, you really need to and if you haven’t made them for awhile, today should be the day. Happy Friday, everyone!

Something you never addressed is where do i get toffee bits? do i need to crush them myself of do can i buy them like that
They’re just in the baking aisle, near the chocolate chips. 🙂
