Ingredients
- 1 bag (about 8–9 cups) microwave popcorn
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons light Karo syrup
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 large marshmallows (3.6 ounces)
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn and transfer it to a large, heat-safe bowl, picking out any unpopped kernels. Set aside.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine the brown sugar, Karo syrup, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 7 minutes. Add the marshmallows and vanilla and stir until the marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. Pour over the popcorn and stir quickly to evenly coat the popcorn.
