Upcoming Events with Kate and Sara!

CATEGORIES: General News

Our brand new book is almost officially launched and we have some fun events coming up in the next two week in both Idaho and (mostly) Utah and we would LOVE to see all of you who can come!  Here’s a schedule so you can put the on your calendar right now!  I know of one more that might get added to the Utah schedule and we’ll let you know if it does.  For now, these are all confirmed.

Tuesday, April 7th
Deseret Book, 6-7pm
I’ll be at the Boise Deseret Book Store next Tuesday.  That store is a little off the beaten path, so it’s always really mellow (like, I start reading random books and try to get the store employees to give me free chocolate samples.)  So seriously, I’d love it if you Boise peeps came to see me and chat.  You can buy books there, or bring already purchased books in to be signed, just swing by!

Wednesday, April 8
Kitchen Kneads, 4:00-5:30 pm
Cook with Kate!  (If I was Kate, that’s totally what I would name my TV show.)  But really, you can go hang out with Kate and do a cooking class at Kitchen Kneads, in Logan!  You need to click on this link and register for the class.  If you can’t make it to the class, but want to swing by and see Kate, she’ll be there a little before and after as well.

Wed, April 8th
Deseret Book, Logan, 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Kate will be signing books and hanging out at Deseret Book, in Logan

Thursday, April 9th
Orson Gygi, 6:30-8pm (RSVP!)
If you want to party with us, this is your event!  Our favorite cooking store, Orson Gygi, is opening their doors after hours just for us!  Kate and I will both be there with cook books, and also our whole line of Olive Oils for sampling!  There will also be prizes and giveaways and all sorts of fun stuff.  And we’ll of course sign books.  If you want to come hang out with us, do us a favor and RSVP using this link (it’s totally free!) so we can know how many people to plan for.

Friday, April 10th
Downtown Deseret Book, 6:00-7:30PM
We’ll both be at the Downtown Deseret Book Store.  Make it a night out with your spouse or girlfriends!  You can hit up City Creek for some dinner and shopping, and come see us in that big beautiful flagship store.

Saturday, April 11th
U. Village Deseret Book, 1:00- 3:00 PM
We’ll both be at the University Village Deseret Book Store this afternoon.

We really love meeting you guys at these events.  It is SO fun for us to see the faces of the people reading our blog and cooking our food and it’s always such a treat to get to chat in real life.  We so appreciate anyone who takes to time to come and see us, so thank you!  Now go put these dates in your phones so you don’t forget!

  1. The cookbook is fabulous … the recipes are amazing and love all the side-notes … I’ve read it cover to cover and have four meals on the menu for this week … exciting!! Looking forward to stocking up on my olive oils at the event … and entered all those Utah dates into my calendar … Congratulations to you both on your new book, thanks for sharing and teaching me how to make a meal!!! I thank you and my family thanks you!!

  2. How about southern California?

Want to hear a sad story about my book? We just moved into a new house but I ordered the book when we were in a rental house while our new one was being finished and I forgot to change the address on the order when we moved. So it got shipped to the rental house and then got forwarded here, but it’s taking FOREVER to get here. And it doesn’t really even matter how long it takes because my husband wants to give it to me for Mother’s Day so I’ll have to wait until the middle of May no matter when it gets here. I think I need to convince him that we need to open it now so we can start using all the healthy and delicious recipes. 🙂 Wish me luck on that one!

  3. I just picked up your book at Costco in Orem yesterday! I did already spot a typo (in the scaled down chicken salad recipe), haha! All the recipes sound so yummy! Thanks for your hard work!

  4. I am planning on seeing you both at City Creek! I am so excited. My sister and I attended a TOFW in Logan a couple of years ago and we heard you speak. We both really enjoyed it and totally think we should be BFFs. 🙂 Haha, #notacreeper
