Our new book is officially out (hooray!) so we’re heading to Utah for some book signings! We’re going to leave this schedule up front and center for the next few days, but we’ll be back on Monday with something yummy. We hope to meet lots of you this week. If you’re around any of these events, please stop by!
Wednesday, April 8
Kitchen Kneads, 4:00-5:30 pm
Cook with Kate! (If I was Kate, that’s totally what I would name my TV show.) But really, you can go hang out with Kate and do a cooking class at Kitchen Kneads, in Logan! You need to click on this link and register for the class. If you can’t make it to the class, but want to swing by and see Kate, she’ll be there a little before and after as well. (Note: I believe this class is sold out, but you can still see Kate)
Wed, April 8th
Deseret Book, Logan, 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Kate will be signing books and hanging out at Deseret Book, in Logan
Thursday, April 9th
Orson Gygi, 6:30-8pm (RSVP!)
Our favorite cooking store, Orson Gygi, is opening their doors after hours just for us! Kate and I will both be there with cook books, and also our whole line of Olive Oils for sampling! If you want to come hang out with us, do us a favor and RSVP using this link (it’s totally free!) so we can know how many people to plan for. We’re planning on visiting with all of you for the first half of the event and we’ll sit and sign books for the 2nd half. There will be books for purchase at this event, and if you purchase there, you’ll get 15% off plus be entered to win one of 2 Gygi cooking classes!
Friday, April 10th
Downtown Deseret Book, 6:00-7:30PM
We’ll both be at the Downtown Deseret Book Store. Make it a night out with your spouse or girlfriends! You can hit up City Creek for some dinner and shopping, and come see us in that big beautiful flagship store.
Saturday, April 11th
U. Village Deseret Book, 1:00- 3:00 PM
We’ll both be at the University Village Deseret Book Store this afternoon.
We really love meeting you guys at these events. It is SO fun for us to see the faces of the people reading our blog and cooking our food and it’s always such a treat to get to chat in real life. We so appreciate anyone who takes to time to come and see us, so thank you! Now go put these dates in your phones so you don’t forget!
Was surprised and delighted to see you girls at the Deseret Book downtown last Friday (I hadn’t checked blogs/email for over a week before then). You probably hear it all the time but was a little weird at how much it felt like I knew you girls already from following your blog for so many years. You are both adorable, love your recipes, and so happy for all your success!
You are so sweet- it was fun to meet you, too!
I am a huge fan of your first two books. I have also purchased all the books for my three girls LOVE them. My husband picked up four copies of 400 calories or less with our best bites. I’m soo disappointed! You went from a beautiful hard cover spiral book to a soft cover! One thing I love is the book always stays open, soft cover not so much. I didn’t mind paying a good price for the book but I will be taking this one back. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Sorry you were disappointed, Joyce. The prices in publishing have raised considerably since our last book, so much that in order to have the same binding as our previous books, it would have to almost double in price for the consumer. We also had some issues with the previous style separating from the binding. We love the new “flexible hard back” and the thick glossy pages with vibrant photos. I’m sad you won’t get to enjoy all of those yummy recipes!
I’d love to get a chance to meet you two but, unfortunately, Utah isn’t very close to New Mexico. Good luck with your book signings and enjoy Orson Gygi.
why is the book not at Costco this time!?!? I was so sad!!
Excited to see you ladies tonight! I was curious will your olive oils be available for purchase as well? Not sure if you’ll ave time to respond to this before this evening but I figured it was worth a try 😉
Hi Kate and Sarah, I LOVED seeing Kate in action last night at Kitchen Kneads! She did a great job! The food was splendid, her jokes and stories were super fun. The class was packed with fans and friends and was a good time for all! Thanks tons, Lorraine
The RSVP link won’t work on the Orson Gygi site. Does that mean the “class” is full?
Kate!! You were so great in the class tonight … You are so darling and it was so fun to see you in action and in real life today
I’m looking forward to partying with you at Orson Gygi tomorrow night, but I can’t get the RSVP link to work.
Wish I could go! I live in Arizona… (hint hint).. 🙂 I love the new book though! It looks great on my shelf next to my other two OBB books, plus I made Burrito Pie tonight and my family loved it!
I am so excited for this book! I don’t have it yet, but I circled it in the Deseret Book catalog that came in the mail and left it open to that page where my husband would see it and get the hint for Mother’s day!
