1/2cupwhite wine vinegar1/2 cup honeyor sugar1-2 cloves garlic, finely minced1 tablespoon grated onion1 teaspoon kosher or other coarse saltAbout 10 cracks of freshly ground black pepper1 cup raspberries, blackberries, or strawberries (or a combo)2/3 cup canola oil1 1/2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions
Combine the vinegar, honey, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and berries in the jar of a blender.
Blend until smooth
With the blender running on low speed, add the oil in a steady stream. Turn off the blender and whisk in the poppy seeds, or pour dressing into a mason jar, add poppyseeds, cover and shake.
If possible, refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
