Quinoa is my favorite “super food”! It’s high in protein and low on the glycemic index. It can be adapted to both sweet and savory dishes….LOVE IT!!!

I have been wanting to try quinoa, but am a little scared. This looks like a good starting point!
This was my first Our Best Bites recipe. I loved it and will probably end up over making it like I do everything I love, but in the meantime, it will be served over torn lettuce from the garden along with grilled pineapple-cilantro-lime chicken. Some might say that’s too many flavors all competing for my attention, but I love it when delicious things compete for my attention.
