So I’m a notorious Diet Coke drinker. I have been, like, my whole life. And I totally own it…but. But for the last year or so, I’ve been trying to scale back because artificial sweeteners make me feel awful. While it’s not a replacement for fizzy brown poison (which, let’s be clear, I still drink, just in smaller quantities), my go-to has been flavored soda water. I’ve tried a lot of different brands and I like some better than others (like this notoriously unpleasant experience from Instagram…)

But, for the most part, I really love La Croix (this isn’t sponsored, just…informational.) My favorites are orange, coconut, lime, mango, and grapefruit. I love them by themselves, but sometimes I need to dress them up just a little. This little refreshing mocktail adds fresh fruit and just a little bit of sugar to help break down the strawberries.
You’ll need a can of coconut-flavored seltzer water (I use La Croix), 2 medium strawberries, half a lime cut into 2 wedges, and a teaspoon of sugar.
Remove the stems from the strawberries and slice them into the bottom of a tall glass.
Sprinkle with sugar,
then let sit for about 5 minutes. If you’re planning on making this for a lot of people or need to use up a lot of strawberries, you can macerate the strawberries (soften with sugar) in larger quantities ahead of time and then just use about 2 tablespoons in this drink. After the strawberry/sugar mixture has rested, mash with a spoon until it’s pulpy, then squeeze one lime wedge over the strawberry mixture and stir. Fill the cup about 1/2 full with ice, then add the coconut seltzer water
and serve immediately.

Questions & Reviews
Yum! I was actually making the strawberry syrup and tried using the la croix instead of sprite for a strawberry limeade and it was soooo delicious 🙂
Beautiful like you. I have to try it now. Thank you.
My favorite La Croix is the Blackberry Cucumber. I like all the combo flavors, but this one is my favorite. Especially good with a dash of Blackberry Syrup!
This looks good.. I haven’t tried La Croix yet. My only concern is some study came out saying that ieven the sparkling water is bad for your teeth.
I hate la Croix so maybe this will make it delicious! I have faith in you girls.
Oh this looks perfects!! We have one of the soda streams but personally I find it a bit deficient in its bubbly making capacity. I like LOTS of bubbles. Hubs loves the soda stream which is why we still own it. (I’m doing a price comparison study to determine if it is all that cost effective versus the space it steaks.)
Looks so refreshing!
This looks great! I’ve been squirting a little cherry koolaid (those little squeeze things) or cherry drink mix into lime LaCroix. A great cherry-limeade substitute.
