All New Holiday Menu Keepsake Book!

We’ve been working hard on a special project and it’s ready to share with you!!  All the info can be found right here, but let me say this real quick.  This book is called Gather, and it’s a special collection of holiday menus.

Kate and I have learned over the years, especially after both losing our mothers, that the most treasured keepsakes often come in unexpected places.  This collection of beloved Best Bites holiday recipes includes lots of useful things like full menus for holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years, organized grocery lists, and plan-ahead guides, but one of our favorite features is a place to record memories.  This book is kind of like a planner and it’s meant to be written in! Take notes, tape in a photo, remember who you spend the holidays with.  We hope it not only brings your families and celebrations together around delicious food, but gives you a way to preserve those moments as well.

This is full-color 71 page spiral bound book.  We are printing these starting Monday and there will be a limited quantity so get your order in now and they will ship out just as soon as they are in our hands!

Questions & Reviews

  1. Any thoughts about printing more? I would love one of your books but I know me way too well that if I download the file there is no way I’m going to a printer or print from home.

    1. We will very likely print more next year! If you want one this year, send an email to us after Thanksgiving ([email protected]) and we might be able to figure something out.

  2. What a special book! Are there new recipes in the book? I have loved all the holiday ones I’ve cooked from you, and love how you have compiled them in one organized place!

    1. I’m wondering the same thing! I loved the summer cookbook, and I’m curious if the holiday book is all new recipes in it?

      1. This is mostly a collection of previous recipes from the blog as well as our 3 cookbooks. It’s meant to be a keepsake collection of our favorite holiday recipes with the added bonus of all your holiday meals planned for you, plus shopping lists and memory keeping tools. Hope that helps! 🙂

  3. Such a great idea. I love this! I’m excited to get one to write my little notes and special tips in it. Some things I make only on certain holidays once a year and I forget certain things. My paper recipes are getting old and very used. Awesome!

  4. I love this idea! I lost my mom when I was twelve, she’s been gone for 26 years now. My sisters and I have a lot of her recipes that she wrote down. Everytime I make one of her meals, I think of her and all the memories.

  5. What a wonderful idea! This is the first holiday season without my mom who passed away right before Christmas. She always made the holidays special and cooked the best meals. The last few years I have done more of the cooking since she was sick but I will truly miss being able to call her and ask for advice on the turkey, gravy, etc. Your timing is perfect for a gift like this:)

    1. Awe I’m so sorry about your Mother, Kim. I know the feeling all too well. I love making my Mom’s recipes, especially during the holidays- it’s one of the best way to remember people we love. I hope you feel her close this holiday season. Much love to you!

    2. Oh my goodness! This is such perfect timing. The two year anniversary of my mom’s passing is November 10th, and I’ve really been struggling emotionally, as she always made the holidays so extra special. I’ve been pulling out family recipes and reminiscing about how we used to have so much fun making them together.
