Kate’s Workout Playlist, Part II

So I have to apologize for not having a post on Wednesday–we’ve always been pretty religious about posting super regularly as long as we’ve been doing this whole blogging thing. If you haven’t been following Sara on Instagram, she’s shared what’s going on in her life over there (I promise, it’s not clickbait, it just feels weird for me to be sharing her stories.) In the meantime, I had a minor technology crisis this week (is there such a thing as a minor technology crisis) and it’s pretty much been the perfect storm for taking a Wednesday off. And me posting a workout playlist today instead of a recipe. But don’t worry, I have a whole bunch of recipes set to go and we’ll be back on track next week.

In February, I posted a workout playlist of some of my favorite songs to get your heart pumping. That was at the beginning of my real, true workout journey and since then, I’ve clocked countless hours and hundreds of miles at the gym. For a girl who used to be terrified of the place, it has really become my happy place, my hour when I forget about everything stressful and how little I’ve slipped and how at least one of my kids will probably wind up being a sociopath because I forgot to make them lunch that day or I couldn’t go on their field trip to New Orleans.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve gotten the itch to share another playlist, a new round of songs that I love to listen to while I’m sweating it all out. This is a slightly indy-er list (with Fall Out Boy, negating the indy factor), so you may hate it and that’s totally cool. We can still be friends. Probably. Also, give “High Dive” a few listens before you decide it’s not your thing–the first time I heard it I hatedhatedhated it, but the more I heard it on the radio, the more I found myself kind of falling in love with it.

And with that, here’s my new workout playlist! I’m always excited to add more to my collection, so what songs are you listening to while you work out??
