These easy little bite-sized sandwiches are great for snacking, appetizers, or even a fun meal (if you make enough!) They’re similar to a popular favorite at Chick-fil-A that’s served for breakfast. Using a few ready-made ingredients makes these simple to pull off. Generally I avoid sharing recipes that use very brand-specific products, but in this case I feel the specific brands mentioned give the best results that’s closest to the fast-food original! If you come across other brands that work well, please leave a comment and let me know!

Ingredients Needed
- Frozen Parker House Rolls– I specifically use Sister Schuberts brand parker house rolls (as seen in the photos below). They can be found in the freezer section at Walmart. I’m sure other stores carry them as well- that’s just where I find them in my area. These rolls are very similar in size, shape, and flavor to the Chick-fil-A ones so I haven’t tried to find anything else!
- Chicken Bites – I use Bare brand frozen chicken chunks, or the Kirkland brand dupes at Costco. You want a small, lightly breaded chicken piece. These brands specifically are known to be similar to Chick-fil-A. If you can’t find either of these options, just look for something similar, like a popcorn chicken.
- Honey
- Butter
- Chick-fil-A Sauce – you can purchase this at most major grocers now.

How to make Copycat Chick-fil-A Chicken Minis
This is just a simple overview, keep scrolling for a printable recipe!
- Follow the instructions on the frozen rolls to reheat, but undercook them by just a bit. You don’t want them getting browned, just heated through so they’re warm and soft.
- While the rolls are cooking, cook your chicken according to package instructions. I use my air fryer for this step!
- While the rolls and chicken are cooking, melt some butter and whisk in some honey.
- To assemble, I like to squirt a little Chick-fil-A sauce in each roll, then pop in a piece of chicken. Once your little sandwiches are all assembled, use a pastry brush to brush them in the honey butter.

Tips for making copycat Chicken Minis
- If you’re planning on making these for dinner or for teenagers, you’ll want to make several pans! Trust me! These are one-bite sandwiches so you’ll want plenty!
- If you’re prepping a large batch of these, you certainly can just keep them in a warm oven until ready to serve, or consider assembling just the chicken and the rolls and brush with the honey butter right before serving with the chick-fila-a sauce on the side.
- These are best eaten fresh, but store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Copycat Chick-fil-A Chicken Mini Sandwiches
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 package Sister Schuberts brand frozen Parker House rolls
- 16 pieces Lightly breaded frozen chicken chunks like Bare brand or Kirkland
- 6 tablespoons chick fila sauce no need to measure exactly
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Warm rolls according to package instructions but undercook them by just a few minutes. You want them nice and warm, but not browned and crisp on top. (This helps them stay super soft!)
- Cook chicken according to package instructions. I like to use my air fryer for this step. Feel free to make more than the necessary 16 pieces so you can snack on a few 🙂
- When the rolls and chicken are close to being done, warm the butter in a small dish in the microwave until melted. Whisk in honey.
- To assemble, squirt a little Chick-fil-A sauce in each roll (OR just serve the sauce on the side if you prefer), and then place 1 piece of chicken in each roll.
- When sandwiches are all assembled and placed back in the roll dish, brush the honey butter over everything and serve immediately.
