Have you ever looked at the ingredient list for something and just known in the pit of your soul that your taste buds would love it?? That’s how I feel about this dressing.
It’s fabulous on all kinds of things, especially salads involving chicken and avocado. I even used the leftovers, adding a bit more cumin and an extra garlic clove or two, to marinate some chicken breasts and they were awesome on the grill. Enjoy!
Oranges, Lime, garlic, honey, onion, cumin, salt and pepper.

3T fresh lime juice
2T honey
3/4 t cumin
1/2 t salt
1/4 t ground black pepper
1/2 C vegetable oil
3. Place all ingredients in a tightly sealed jar and shake your bootie (and the jar) vigorously. Store in the fridge, and shake before dressing salad.
Try it on a bed of cold romaine, with bites of creamy avocado, juicy mango, pretty red onion and slices of Spicy Honey Chicken
can you use lemon juice instead of lime?
Sure, just a different flavor profile
Can you use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil
Did the easy route on this last night – garlic and onion flakes out of the spice rack – and used orange juice from a jug (although it was good Columbia Gorge style “freshly squeezed”) and the dressing was still great. I went light on the cumin and could still taste it.
I just made this dressing for a mango, pork, cucumber, carrot, & fetta salad. It was so good and very healthy. I used canola oil and didn’t add the onion to it. Such a keeper.
Is there anyway to get the calorie count on this?
Has anyone tried this with olive or canola oil instead of vegtable?
