Bacon Olive Oil!

Good news, peeps!  Our super popular Flavor Variety Gift Sets are back in stock!  We had these back at Mother’s Day (you can read about them, here) and they sold out in about 24 hours.  We’ve had tons of emails asking when they’d be back in stock and they’re here!  But this is another limited run, so if you want one, I’d snag it quickly because these will sell out again.  These are currently IN-STOCK.

Now, can we talk about Father’s Day coming up?  Or any day, really? Because we have something perfect, for him, for you, for anyone.  Yes, we’re actually doing this.

Note:  This is now sold out.  Sheesh!  We knew it would go fast, but we had no idea it would go THAT fast.  You guys are serious about bacon.  Don’t worry- since you loved it so much, we’ll bring it back and let you know as soon as we do!

Now, you might be thinking this is some sort of novelty gag gift, like bacon chapstick (ew) or bacon suckers, or bacon whatever else you can think of.  Think again.  This stuff is amazing.  It’s culinary genius (if we don’t say so ourselves.)

And we’re not talking about bacon flavor #472 that comes in a syringe in a chem lab.  This is genuine 100% Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil with smokey goodness from 100% real bacon.  Two of our favorite things, married together in perfect harmony.  I told you, genius.

The number one question we get when we tell people about our bacon olive oil is, “How do you use it?”  Like all of our other flavors, you use this just as you would any regular olive oil, but here are some of our favorites:

Scrambled Eggs.  Gives them that yummy bacon flavor, without bacon!
Saute Veggies for your omelette
Oven roasted vegetables.  Just toss veggies in Bacon oil, season with salt and pepper and roast until perfection in the oven.
Drizzle it on steak and ribs and then season and grill your meat.  Give it an extra drizzle at the end.
– Use it to cook chicken and fish
– Add a tablespoon or so to hamburgers and meatballs before shaping
– Make a quick salad dressing by whisking in a little vinegar and toss it over spinach, red onions, feta, apples and chicken
– Use it to cook hashbrowns.
– Saute your veggies for soup, or drizzle on top
– Make oven roasted potatoes by tossing baby potatoes in Bacon Olive Oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
-Drizzle a little on top of your favorite sandwich
Brush it on pizza crust before cooking

Since Father’s Day is coming up, we have a great printable to go along with this!

I mean, c’mon, right?  True love.  Bacon.  They just go together.

We’ve got a set that says “Hey Dad” and also one that says, “Hey Babe,” for any special person in your life.  Download the “Hey Dad” Tags, here.  And download the “Hey Babe” tags, here.

This is a very specialty item.  It takes quite a process to blend premium olive oil with real bacon, and our oil producers make this exclusively for us!  It’s made in small batches and every one is hand-bottled.  This is good stuff.  Premium stuff.  And it won’t be here forever!

You can grab it right now in our Shop.  We’ve also created a special Bacon Bundle, where you can pair a little bottle of Bacon, with a standard bottle of our Premium Flavored Oil in any flavor (Garlic, Lemon, Chili, or Basil) for just $25. Use code BACON at check-out!

You don’t want to miss out on this one- they’ll go fast!  Also, I want to note for our CANADIAN friends:  If you’re interested in ordering, just email and they can take care of you there!

Who wants to try this out?  Do you have any great ideas on how you’d use it in the kitchen? Tell us what you think and we’ll send a bottle to one lucky commenter!

  1. I have no idea what Other things I could do, that is a thoughrough list… But I would use it most to cook eggs for sure! Sounds yummy!

  2. I do not like the smell or taste of bacon, but my husband loves it. I bet he would use it to cook his eggs in. I love the gift tags. Thanks!

  3. My husband and I are having a bacon-themed happy hour next week so I am going to buy some right now! But would love to win a bottle too so count me in please 🙂 Father’s Day is coming up and so is my foodie brother-in-law’s birthday!!

  4. This would be amazing in my family’s stuffed mushroom recipe. Toss cleaned mushroom caps with bacon olive oil, pre-bake. Then stuff with bacon, feta, cream cheese, red onions (sautéed in bacon olive oil, of course!). Yum!!!

  5. Oh some spinach cooked in this long enough to wilt sounds absolutely divine!. My dad would be all over cooking his eggs in it!

  6. I so needed this to drizzle on my cauliflower soup last night. It could add a level of yum to so many soup options, which we cook each week. OR my sweet potato breakfast hash.

  7. I would love to try this out. I would put in my hamburger meat while browning it for different recipes, like lasagna.

  8. Ladies! You’ve done it again! Incredible! If it shipped to canada ( won’t let me use Canadian paypal account. Boo!), I would be ordering this AND the gift 4- pack. In multiples!

Bacon olive oil?!? Yummmmm I’d likely use it in a “baked potato” potato salad that I like to make to add another dimension of bacon, on grilled veggies, rub it on the potatoes before making your amazing baked potatoes, I’m thinking it would ” up the ante” on many favs…… Like the bacon wrapped teriyaki chicken skewers, ooooh imagine it in a BLT Cobb salad dressing?!?! Yummmmm

  9. I love the idea of using it with oven roasted potatoes. I would also love to try it with my mom’s recipe for cheesy, bacon potatoes. Thanks for the chance to try a bottle.

  10. Ha. Okay, I admit, at first I thought Bacon Olive Oil was a prank. You girls do tease sometimes. Then I started reading all your ideas on amazing ways to use it, and my thinking switched to, “And why doesn’t EVERYONE have this!?” Genius! I want to use it to make anything with potatoes, and I definitely want to try it with scrambled eggs and on all kinds of veggies, roasted or grilled.

  11. I think I would use it to sauté veggies in soups. Baked potato soup with this carrots and onions sautéed with bacon olive oil sound yummy. I got my mom the flavor 4 pack for Mother’s Day it would be fun to continue the tradition and get my Dad the bacon flavor for Father’s Day.

  12. I’ll bet this would be good drizzled over popcorn! I once made “pizza” popcorn by sprinkling buttered popcorn with some dry spaghetti sauce mix, powdered parmesan cheese, and bacon bits. This oil could take the place of the butter and bacon bits. Yum!

  13. This is sheer genius. Carmelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, in a salad dressing for a BLT flair, on pasta salads, as a dipping sauce with cracked pepper for artisan breads, etc. Please send me a bottle!

  14. Wow!!!! Bacon oil olive…a must have. The variety of uses are extraordinary in the kitchen, outdoors at the grill, and with the dutch ovens at the fire pit or out in the boonies. A truly amazing combo just in time for Wyoming’s warm BBQ season…we BBQ year round, even in the snow!

  15. My first thought was how great this would be on popcorn instead of butter. But then I saw someone comment they would actually POP their popcorn in this and my mind was blown!

  16. I immediately thought of using this to saute my green beans in! I usually add crumbled bacon to my green beans, so this would be perfect!

  17. Admittedly I know plenty of dads in my life that would love eating something made with this but I’d probably have to do the cooking. 🙂 Sounds delicious!

  18. Oh no! You’re already sold out! Any chance you’ll be getting more in? 🙂 I would love to use it to saute mushroom and onions! (And in many more things.)

  19. I would definitely use it for eggs and for potatoes. I was cooking something a few weeks ago and wished I had some bacon grease to cook it in but I’m not one of those people that saves the bacon grease and I can’t remember what I was making that needed it. I’ll have to order some and see if I can remember what it was before it gets here.

  20. This is GENIUS, I’m so sad it’s already sold out! I pop my own popcorn in a brown paper bag and this would be awesome with the olive oil and parmesan cheese! I hope you restock 🙂

  21. How about using it to dip a baguette into? You know, like a variation of the olive oil/balsmalmic combo? Sounds good to me!

  22. My husband loves to cook, and I’m sure he could come up with tons of ways to use it. I would probably just waste it on a salad, though.

  23. I would use it to cook anything breakfast! Even the sweet stuff, like pancakes, French toast, waffles, yum, yum, yum!

  24. Since you sold out here’s my chance to win! My first thought was bacon vinaigrette but now I’m thinking to somehow use it to make a donut or something chocolate….

  25. We’re making pizzas on the BBQ this weekend to celebrate my brother’s birthday. I’m thinking bacon olive oil with red onions, chopped bacon bits, cheese and an alfredo sauce would be perfect!!! Yummmmm

  26. It sounds delicious and amazing! My mouth was watering thinking about using it on chicken kabobs on the gril! I saw the post just now and was sad that it was already sold out! Bring it back soon!

  27. My husband grills Brussels Sprouts with bacon slivers in our veggie grill pan — but adding the bacon olive oil would bump the flavor up even more, yum! I tried to buy it, but you are sold out. 🙁

  28. I see you already have roasted vegetables on your list, but my first thought was roasted asparagus, cherry tomatoes or wilted spinach.
This would be great to fry grouse and elk steaks in.

  29. My husband’s been making breakfast burritos for special occasions. This bacon olive oil would certainly bump them up a notch, even though they are good already!

  30. I would sauté green beans in it. My grandmother bottled green beans every summer and my mom always fried up bacon to mix with them to eat. My favorite way to have green beans. Sometimes we even save a little bacon grease to melt into regular store bought green beans to take them up a notch. (Yeah I’m good at taking a healthy vegetable and adding fat and calories) Seriously though I’d use it with pasta, potatoes, veggies, fish, meat…everything. Mmm grilled shrimp! My mouth is watering. So bummed it’s sold out. How can you not love bacon and olive oil. Genius!!

  31. Does this contain any sodium? If not I would use the living daylights out of this. Green beans are the first thing that comes to mind, followed by a baked potato with this instead of butter. Baked beans, cook pancakes in it, drizzle on french fries before baking them. Meatloaf, and I definitely liked the hamburger idea too. OMG, polenta! I’ve got to stop – I’m drooling on my keyboard. Let me know about the sodium and get more in quickly please.

  32. Nooooo! It’s already sold out. 🙁 I wanted to get it for my dad for Father’s Day. He loves to cook and who doesn’t love bacon?

  33. My jaw literally dropped to the floor when I saw this! I think this would make pasta carbonara extra special. It would also be amazing on a sandwich with crusty bread that could soak up every last drop . . . I think I just drooled a little bit.

  34. Oh WOW! My kids already love veggies roasted with olive oil. I can only imagine how we’d all go WILD for veggies roasted in BACON olive oil!

  35. Roasted Cauliflower Infused with Bacon Olive Oil

Cauliflower and Bacon and Olive Oil and a hot oven is a perfect match.

  36. My girls love bacon so I would add it to their eggs when we have bacon and eggs. Or green beans when I am too lazy to make bacon to put in them.

  37. I know this sold out in a heartbeat (good for you!) but I’m hoping I can win a bottle. 🙂 Otherwise, I look forward to when it goes back on sale.

  38. I’m really not a huge olive oil person, mostly bc I just don’t know how to use it very well but my goodness every single thing you listed sounds delicious! Wishing I had some of this!

  39. Mmmm bacon oil…
I’m thinking pan-fried cheddar perogies with sauted onions would be delicious(er) using bacon olive oil.

I think this is going to need to be a regular product! 😉
